However, new models can face plenty of challenges if they don\u2019t know the guidelines of the industry. Here are some pieces of advice to help new models enhance their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-c8ce739a-eb40-47d3-8ae4-a40c92f46dac\"><em>Do: Be on time<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything moves fast in the modelling world. Ensure that you come on time or even early for your shoot so that everyone, including yourself, has enough time to prepare everything. Moreover, it also shows your professionalism and respect to others with this action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/orangemodels.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/AndreiFilip-1-791x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15375\" width=\"398\" height=\"515\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Don\u2019t: Cancel a shooting\/booking last minute<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have serious health or emergency issues, canceling your shooting is reasonable and acceptable. However, if it\u2019s just because of a trip with your friends, don\u2019t do that! Behind any shooting is a whole team with lots of preparation and effort. Therefore, canceling a booking will make many people struggle to reschedule their plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-fc21158d-ee03-4d6f-a6d1-aa5e2940a980\"><em>Do: Prepare<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/orangemodels.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/AndreiFilip-791x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15378\" width=\"409\" height=\"529\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s recommended that you do proper research to understand your client\u2019s needs and the theme of the photoshoot. Then, practice some <a href=\"https:\/\/orangemodels.ca\/top-7-posing-ideas-for-female-models\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">poses<\/a> in front of the mirror at home so that when you come to the shoot, you already have different poses in mind for the photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Don\u2019t: Start a fight with someone on set<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes, you might have to work on a shoot with someone difficult; however, stay calm and try your best to perform from beginning to end. If you fight with someone, it can affect your image negatively and lead to difficulties in finding future work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ff3b0d05-ded3-4f9d-9483-eaef0e4ba29d\"><em>Do: Follow instructions<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/orangemodels.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/AndreiFilip-3-791x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15380\" width=\"432\" height=\"559\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s important to follow instructions during your shoot so that you can showcase the best version of yourself that your client wants. It also shows that you are a model who is easy to work with and has a great attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Don\u2019t: Complain<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last thing that an agency or a client wants is a model who always complains. Even if you don\u2019t like the outfit or the makeup, just grin and bear it. Don\u2019t show your upset and anger verbally or on your face.
